A mashup of the 1993 song What's Up by 4 Non Blondes and 2012 song Beez in the Trap by Nicki Minaj is all over TikTok and has caught the imagination of lots of celebrities and other creators on the app.

The sound has been used in 800,000 TikToks and its creator, DJ Auxlord, has gone on to make and release a full version of it.

You can see lots of different examples of celebrities and other big videos on the trend in this Shooglebox:

Alan Carr and Cat Burns from The Celebrity Traitors have one of the most popular versions with the back-to-back moves that everyone's been doing in their lipsync videos.

Comments on their TikTok included "I have never watched Traitors but the Alan Carr and Cat Burns content has turnt meeee", "the voices match perfectly" and "Name a more iconic duo… we'll wait."

Another big version is by Jimmy Fallon and Malala Yousfzai which people are saying "was not on my 2025 bingo card". The activist recently joined TikTok as part of a campaign to promote her new memoir Finding My Way and has done all sorts of current trends to help her grow a following.

There's lots more about how Malala is using TikTok in this Shooglebox blog.

Other famous faces include Sabrina Carpenter and Marcello Hernández doing the trend on Saturday Night Live, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, and Jennifer Lopez in the recording studio with 4 Non Blondes lead singer Linda Perry.

Some people are surprised that Nicki Minaj hasn't yet done her own lipsync, asking "Why is Nicki taking so long to hop on the trend? I’m impatient."
